Description

A healthy, low-carb version of the classic General Tso’s Chicken, packed with flavor and nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons erythritol or other low-carb sweetener
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and erythritol to create the marinade. Add the chicken and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add the broccoli and stir-fry together for another 3-4 minutes, until the broccoli is tender.
  4. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving. Enjoy your low carb meal!

Notes

For extra flavor, let the chicken marinate for longer than 30 minutes. Adjust the sweetness according to your preference.
