Description
A quick and easy one-pan meal featuring juicy chicken and buttery noodles, perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Add the egg noodles to the same skillet and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Drain the noodles and return them to the skillet. Add butter and minced garlic, cooking until butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.
- If the noodles seem dry, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
- Slice the chicken and serve over the noodles. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese on top of the noodles before serving. Do not overcook the chicken.
