Description

A hearty and satisfying dish made with ground beef, cabbage, and rice, perfect for family dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small cabbage, shredded
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, with juice
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and onion until browned, about 7 minutes. Drain any fat.
  3. Add shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes (with juice), cooked rice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to mix everything together.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 5 minutes to blend the flavors.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30–35 minutes, until the cabbage is tender.
  7. Let it rest for 5 minutes before serving warm.

Notes

Serve with a side salad or crusty bread. Optionally, top with shredded cheese or sour cream.
