Juicy chicken thighs are cooked in a sweet and spicy hot honey sauce, perfect for satisfying sandwiches any night of the week.

- 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup of hot honey
- 1/4 cup of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Burger buns for serving
- Optional: pickles, coleslaw, or extra hot honey for topping
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix together the hot honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 360-480 minutes or high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks in the slow cooker and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Serve the hot chicken on burger buns, adding pickles or coleslaw if desired.
Notes
For a spicier sandwich, add more hot sauce or fresh chopped peppers. You can also substitute the hot honey with regular honey and a splash of your favorite hot sauce for a milder version.
